@capsmodan actually if you picked up the body of a lotus sport exige 240r, the lotus elise's lighter and more powerful twin, and applied that electric motor to it, you could unleash some unheard hell upon the streets!

@ihavemonkeysinmybutt I see that, and it's true. Surelly he is? making some money and respect with this car, but i think he doesn't know what to do - he changed his batteries which is cool, but he's running a heavy box. I saw in the US people doing eletric motorcycles, receiving them for free or hundred dollars. Surelly there is a car like that in a scrapyard without motor, a smaller and lighter car; but he seems accomodated with this car. :D

@capsmodan yeah but that frame would be pretty expensive + i think he wants it to look that way so people can see the potential of what electric cars can be. If this small ugly car that runs on electric can go that fast than imagine what a car thats all decked out in special features can go.

I have 3 words for this. "I WANT ONE" This car is bloody awesome. The Aussie EV Capri is also pretty cool, and it's road legal, but if home engineers can do this, then so can big car companies. It's just that they don't want to. They want to sell someone every drop of polluting oil before they change to electric. Assert your right to change,, if you can afford to have one of these made, do it. No massive fuel bill and maintenance bills is prestige enough for anyone to be cool. More like this pls

Adding to the truck distribution of petrol, we have the initial shipping by oil tanker, in itself shipping is a major polluter with the added danger of oil spills...Heck I want an electric car because it's the future, tron, back to the future and star wars all combined
