hydrogen won't be any good in reducing greenhouse gas emmisions until we have power plants which run on a zero emmission energy source. This is because you need electricity to make hydrogen

This station is part of the "Hydrogen Highway" in the Netherlands. There are a number of car manufactureres that already make these cars. "We" americans can't have them, because oil companies OWN this country.

You know that for makeing an eficient solar wather heater, you cannot spend more then 250 USD(for materials bought from a regular store), but are sold to end-user with 2000 USD?

Of course you realised I am not a native english speaker, I learned english in school and I hate people that looks at the "spelling" not at the ideas transmited by writing. If somethig new, like hydrogen usage, economic light bulbs, solar pannels, eficient rechargable batterys or any other thing that will improve life and poluate less is sold with 1000% profit - we have a BIG problem FOR WIDE ADOPTION.

In fact is a VERY simple proces, you just need wather, wires, some DC current, eventualy salt and a piece of aluminium. It is a verry ineficient method but...for everybody. Honda made FCX Clarity with a domestic device (sold separately) that produce hydrogen, if you add water. Of course the car and the device are EXTREMELY expensive.

yes but to convert h20(water) into h (hydrogen) u need a lot of energy which just offsets the efficiency of it

What is the liter per minute consumption rate of hydrogen of these cars??? How much liters per minute of hydrogen do these cars use in normal driving??? The device on my motorcycle produces over 40 liters per minute of hydrogen from water. The device on my motorcycle also produces over 60 liters per minute of HHO gas. To make hidrogen you need nothing special - water and electricity. Hidrogen is Cleen and this should be no tax for polution, this why it should be no more then 0,5 euro or less. With a huge profit for the producer and state.

This is BULL SHIT! In fact BMW HOPES to have in 20 years a H distribution sistem. This car is a BMW 7 series and it cost 40-70 000 euros. It BURNS Hidrogen and that means the consumption is similar to gasoline. In the movie we see that H cost 8 euro/kg if you need only 50 kg of H you will spend 400 euros. Today price for gas is almost 1 euro/liter. THIS IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!!

Hydrogen is an effective, clean, and sufficiently powerful fuel source. The only difficulties come in how to cleanly and economically produce and store it. About 70% of the electricity generated in the U.S. comes from burning fossil fuels. Neither fuel cell nor hydrogen powered cars are "green" if the electricity used to extract or charge them isn't too.

That would be hydrogen 2 and 3, also known as deuterium and tritium (not normal hydrogen), and like the other post said, you need the heat in an A-bomb within an H-bomb for it to work to begin with.
